It is time for me to downsize, and unfortunately need to part with my beloved THINGY!  I bought and restored this rust free Thing over 25 years ago while living in San Diego.  It was our go to car to head to the beach with the kids at the time, moved out of California and THINGY accompanied us through a couple moves.  It has never been in the rain and has mostly peacefully slept in the garage, maybe a total of 1,000 miles over 25 years.

It started out as a 1974 Thing, but I never liked the looks of the muffs, and I converted it over to the engine bay slats of the 1973 model.  Since moving to Florida 12 years ago, it has only left the garage to go get ice cream and a yearly jaunt to the Bug Jam in Dade City.  It runs and drives great.

I showed it in a few shows in Southern California and most years at the Bug Jam, always won something in every show, usually second or third place in the mild custom class.  (always a bridesmaid, never a bride!)
